CSI

Overview

This forensic competition challenges students to analyze and process crime scenes through three events: Crime Scene Elements Identification, Crime Scene Investigation and Analysis, and Chain of Custody. Students work with mock evidence like fingerprints, impressions, and blood spatter to understand the science behind crime-solving. Analytical reasoning and professional conduct are emphasized as teams interpret data and recreate scenarios. The Chain of Custody component simulates evidence handling protocols, testing attention to detail and courtroom testimony skills. Success requires a blend of scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and ethical evidence management.
