Why should i attend LAUNCH?

LAUNCH is a high-energy, rally-style event designed to ignite excitement and momentum for the year ahead. It brings our Chapters together to build community, recruit new members, and rally around a shared vision. Through inspiring speakers, engaging moments, and clear calls to action, students leave motivated and ready to lead. LAUNCH sets the tone for a bold, connected, and impactful year across our network.

Your group should plan to arrive around 1:00 PM. We will hold a short rally, and then you will be free to enjoy the fair until it closes at 10:00 PM.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The registration cost for LAUNCH is $50 for each participant. This includes entrance to the rally and a ride wristband which allows you to enjoy all the rides at the fair ($30 value).

Register by September 18 to have your membership for the year included!

Deadline to register is October 9th.

COMPETITIONS

T-Shirt Design

Students are invited to showcase their creativity by designing an original t-shirt for Junior Youth Assembly, Youth Assembly, or Youth in Government EXPO. These designs should be bold and engaging, reflecting the civic engagement, community impact, and student leadership values of ENGAGE.

Designs may include artwork, slogans, or creative graphics. The winning design will be selected based on creativity, originality, visual appeal, and how well it represents ENGAGE Georgia.

The selected design may be subject to minor modifications or adjustments to ensure that it meets the ENGAGE Georgia branding guidelines. Any changes will be made while maintaining the integrity of the original design.

Flyer Design

Students will create an eye-catching promotional flyer for Junior Youth Assembly, Youth Assembly, or Youth in Government EXPO. This competition highlights students’ creativity and communication skills.

Successful submissions will clearly present information about the selected event using engaging visuals, layout, and elements. Winners will be selected based on clarity, creativity, visual impact, and effectiveness.

The selected design may be subject to minor modifications or adjustments to ensure that it meets the ENGAGE Georgia branding guidelines. Any changes will be made while maintaining the integrity of the original design.

Program or Project Planning

Chapters are encouraged to submit plans for programming or projects they have or will complete on their school campus which have promoted civic engagement, leadership, or community service.

Complete plans will include the event’s purpose, goals, activities, target audience, and expected/actual outcomes. Chapters are encouraged to exhibit creative thinking and strategic planning while also emphasizing meaningful initiatives. Judges will evaluate submissions based on originality, feasibility, impact, and alignment with ENGAGE Georgia’s mission.

Completed programs must be from the 2025-2026 school year. Planned programs must be for the 2026-2027 school year.
